If you’ve never hosted a musician or volunteered for the Festival before, please consider joining now! We are always in need of hosts and volunteers. Below is a brief description of what you can do:
Donating housing to orchestra musicians and guest artists is a very important way Bear Valley (and nearby) homeowners can support the Festival. We ensure that your condo or cabin is managed with the highest level of care and professionalism. If you are staying in your home during the Festival and can house a musician in your spare bedroom, this can also be a mutually enriching experience, and often leads to a lasting friendship built around your love of music.
Up to 26 dynamic music lovers may join us this summer as volunteer ushers to welcome our patrons to the Festival tent. Volunteer ushers verify tickets, hand out programs, escort patrons to their seats, answer most common questions, and make sure patrons know where all the exits and facilities are located.
Help with Photography, Social Media, Press Opportunities, etc.
Concessions & Merchandise
Set up merchandise and refreshment tents, sell products and close tents after the concert.
Help with decorations, layout, table settings, serving, live auction, and cleanup.
Office help, answering phones and emails, copying, running errands. A vehicle is helpful (but not required).
Transport guest artists to/from the airport, help with refreshments during rehearsals, assist housing chair and staff, assist at Musician’s welcome BBQ, provide activities for musicians during their off-time (i.e. picnics, hikes, etc.).
