Beware of Ticket Scams

There are many online websites or “brokers” that will lead you to believe that they are an official website for ticket purchases for our events. BEWARE of those websites!

This website is the official online ticket purchase point for the Bear Valley Music Festival. Tickets purchased from any individual, company or website other than the are purchased at your own risk and may be fraudulent, counterfeit or invalid for admission to the performance. The Bear Valley Music Festival assumes no liability for these tickets and cannot resolve any disputes involving their use. Always purchase tickets online here.

The Bear Valley Music Festival does not knowingly sell to ticket brokers or resellers, and will cancel and refund purchases found to be suspect. No tickets are mailed to areas outside our region and emailed tickets later found to be suspect will be cancelled and will not scan at the door. Tickets may not be transferred to a second party without purchaser ID. Only the first scan will allow entry — do not make copies or attempt to sell copies. Resale/attempted resale of a ticket at a price higher than face value is a violation of our terms and grounds for seizure/cancellation without refund. All hard tickets and e-tickets have the original face value of the ticket printed on them.

The BVMF, like many other performing arts venues, is plagued by online scalpers who purchase tickets to popular concerts and then re-sell them to unwitting consumers at grossly inflated prices. In order to stop scalpers, the BVMF scrutinizes all ticket orders and reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any purchase that we deem to be suspicious. For example, an order for ten concert tickets from an individual in Florida or other distant location is very likely to be cancelled. If you have placed such an order that the BVMF cancels, and you dispute our decision, you may call our Ticket Office at (209) 588-7344 to discuss the reason for your purchase.
