Maestro Michael Morgan presents notable violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins in three contrasting orchestral works by 20th century composers, all featuring a virtuosic violin solo: Tzigane by Maurice Ravel, “Fiddler on the Roof Rhapsody & Scherzo” based on Jerry Bock’s timeless Broadway masterpiece, and the rarely performed Violin Concerto No. 2 by Florence Price. The program also includes Gabriel Fauré’s Pavane.
